Camp Sonshine is a Christian summer day camp hosted by Crossroads Chapel designed to give children a fun, safe, and meaningful summer experience. Our goal is simple — help kids grow in friendships, confidence, and faith while enjoying an exciting week full of activities.

Parents want more than just childcare during the summer. They want a place where their children are cared for, encouraged, and surrounded by positive role models. Camp Sonshine provides that environment through caring counselors, structured activities, and biblical values taught in a natural and age-appropriate way.

Who Can Attend?

• Campers: Pre-K through 6th Grade

• Leaders in Training (LIT): 7th–8th Grade students
   

Our LIT program helps middle school students develop leadership skills, responsibility, and servant-hearted character while assisting counselors and learning how to care for younger campers.

What Kids Experience Each Day
Every day at camp is designed to keep children active, engaged, and excited to come back.
Activities may include:

• Group games & team challenges

• Outdoor recreation

• Crafts & creative projects

• Music & worship

• Bible lessons and devotions

• Friendship-building activities

• Special themed days and surprises
   

Children build friendships, learn teamwork, and develop confidence in a supportive environment.

More Than Just Fun
Camp Sonshine is a faith-based program. We gently introduce biblical values such as kindness, honesty, forgiveness, respect, and compassion. These lessons help children grow not only spiritually but also socially and emotionally.
Our trained staff works to create a positive atmosphere where every child feels welcomed and valued. Parents can feel confident knowing their child is in a safe setting with attentive supervision and caring leaders.

We partner with families to encourage healthy character development that carries into school, home, and friendships.
